To insure the safety of all students, all visitors must check in at the school office before going to classrooms. Please sign in and out and receive a visitor’s pass. Parents/Guardians and other SLCS visitors must receive clearance on a criminal background checks and have completed the online OVASE training. SLCS visitors who haven't received criminal background clearances and OVASE, which is valid for 3 years, should not expect to assist in the classroom, participate in field trips, or otherwise serve as school volunteers. It is suggested that you get a background check and OVASE in place at the beginning of the school year.
